Your data and confidentiality
You retain the rights to data you enter or upload. CompanyValue uses it for the requested services and treats financial and business information as confidential, including information that is not personal data.
Hosting and location
The app and upload service are hosted through OpenAI ChatGPT Sites, using Cloudflare infrastructure for runtime, database and file storage. The applicable data processing arrangements address confidentiality, security, subprocessors and breach notification.
EU-only storage is not guaranteed. Sites currently offers no regional storage selection. Under the OpenAI DPA, transfers outside the EEA are covered by standard contractual clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.
Access to files
Connections to the app use HTTPS. Users sign in through ChatGPT; the app associates files with the signed-in account and checks access on the server. Review requests are also accessible to authorised CompanyValue reviewers. Administrative permissions are separate from ordinary client access.
Do not share your account and only provide necessary information. Report suspected unauthorised access immediately to info@companyvalue.nl. This description is not a certification or a guarantee that incidents cannot occur.
AI and model training
CompanyValue does not use client data to train AI models. Signing in or uploading a review file does not automatically send it to an AI model. The valuation model uses fixed formulas.
You choose whether to share an export with ChatGPT. Your ChatGPT account’s terms and privacy settings then also apply. CompanyValue’s undertaking is not a general guarantee about your independent use of external AI services.
Retention, deletion and recovery
There is no general automatic deletion of source files after 30 days. See the privacy policy for retention criteria, exceptions and your rights. Ending a subscription does not automatically delete a file.
For access or deletion, email info@companyvalue.nl. We assess which data and copies fall within the request and which information must be retained on a legal basis.
Keep your original files and important exports. An Excel or PDF export is not a complete backup of all attachments and review records. A guaranteed recovery time or separate backup service is included only if agreed in writing.
Security incidents
CompanyValue assesses security reports, restricts access where necessary and handles personal data breaches in accordance with applicable notification duties. Affected clients and individuals are informed where required by law or the agreed processing arrangements. Report incidents to info@companyvalue.nl.
